Our law firm exists in the Algarve for almost 20 years mainly helping foreign clients that wish to buy property to live, to rent, to resale or to develop in Portugal, mainly in Algarve. Our team is composed by two lawyers and seven assistants specialized in real estate legal matters.
Our law firm exists already for more than 20 years. It was founded by Dr.
Leonardo Ferreira Dias and nowadays the seniors partners are Dr. Luís
Lapa e Borges and, Dr. Eurico Alves. We focus our activity on
rendering service to foreign clients who wish to acquire property to
live, to rent, to resale or to develop in Portugal, mainly in the
region of the Algarve, on the southern coast of Portugal, providing
legal assistance since the preparation of the contracts until its
effectiveness.
The
office has not only been representing several high quality resorts
but also individual clients when purchasing and selling properties /
shares in this region’s luxury areas, such as Quinta do Lago, Vale
do Lobo, Pinheiros Altos and Vilamoura, thus employing its best
efforts to provide the best quality service in the market.
The
team is composed by the two already mentioned lawyers, Luís Lapa e
Borges and Eurico Alves, assisted by two key assistants, Lina Mendes
and Vera Canilho, and four other co-assistants all specialized in
real estate legal matters and language skilled including fluent
English, French and Spanish.
The
lawyers’ background includes studies in
legal following up of projects financed by the European Community,
participation in conferences in Cambridge, namely “Wills,
Probate and Trusts – an update”,
“Finance
and management in a Solicitor Practice”,
“Negotiating
and Drafting of International Commercial Contracts”
amongst others.
